As Augustus Ranoir neared the gates, he wondered what the legion had in store for him this time. He just got back from a fly over mission of the Great Forest, where he looked for a Skooma Den. As the guard opened up the main gate, Augustus looked at the beautiful Snow covered cabins. And where at least fifty Imperial Legionarres and Bruma Town guard were waiting for him with their swords drawn. For some reason he didnt think they were a welcoming commity.

Augustus drew his sword, though he knew it would be no help. He knew he couldnt unfurl his wings do to the civilians and guards. Suddenly, the line broke. Commander Arkred came through the line. After Borlins death, Arkved had been his mentor and friend, but now he looked at Augustus with a look of sheer disgust. "How could you do this to us! To me!" he suddenly yelled in an angered voice. Augustus was tooken aback by the tinge of hatred in his voice. "What did I do" he asked, sincerness in his voice. "You killed him!" Arkred yelled, no sign of change in his voice. "Killed who?" Augustus asked. Suddenly, the legion commanders voice got quieter. "You really dont know?" Arkred asked in the same voice he always had. "Last night, Seargent Sarked was assasinated. Just outside your home. Your horse and your bow were both found at the scene of the crime. One of the locals saw you out in the forest and we just mutually asumed it was you". "Well commander, now you. And if you could please tell your men to sheath their swords." Augustus said in his most buissnessy tone. " Im sorry but I cant do that. Your still one of our prime suspects. Please put your weapon on the ground and prepare to be taken in custody." Arkred said, also in his most commanding voice. "Well commander, im afraid that I cant obey that order. And you can pretty much consider this as my resignation from the legion. Bye!". With that, he spread out his 14 foot wingspan and jumped backwards, all the way to the top of the walls knocking the archers off balence. Some fell far down to the hard rock of the lower plaza. Then, Augustus jumped off the walls and flew towards the northern part of the city. Down below, Commander Arkred shook his head and said to his assistant in a low voice. "Put up a warrent for his arrest. I would prefer him alive, but deads fine too." With that, he turned around and slowly walked to the chapel.

Augustus began to think about a good location to hide out at. He knew he couldnt go home or stay here because they were both swarmed with Guards and Legionarres. Currently, he was residing in a make shift "Base" (AKA a beggar camp. He killed the beggar.). But legion squads were coming by every few hours, and sooner or later their going to figure out that theres someone in the feed barrel. So far he had slimmed down his choices to Cheydinhall, Leyawinn, Kvatch, or Chorral. 'Cheydinhalls too open, Leyawinns too wet, and Chorrols too- Boring' he thought. Besides, he hadnt visited Kvatch for a while. Plus, since its so far south, nobody will know about me for a while. So he decided that as soon as night fell, he would fly out. ' I still wonder who killed Seargent Sarked' he thought. (This stories going to the the Kvatch fourm, just so you know)
